MoNA’s auction weekend, June 19, 20 and 21 will be incredible fun! New tent site, new sit down, multi-course artisan dinner, new preview party with live music and dancing and more opportunities to purchase silent auction works.
Nell Thorn Waterfront Bistro, across First Street from MoNA, will host the LIVE AUCTION TENT and cater events both Friday and Saturday. The restaurant, including the patio, will be open exclusively for MoNA guests. Seattle Magazine named Nell Thorn Waterfront Bistro the best destination Northwest restaurant in 2012. In 2014 the restaurant moved to a more spacious location on the La Conner waterfront, allowing for the auction to feature its acclaimed cuisine. The tent next to the restaurant will hold 180 VIP guests treated to drinks, dinner, and dessert.
Each year hundreds of artists, volunteers, sponsors, and art collectors contribute to its success. The Annual Art Auction is MoNA’s largest annual fundraiser presenting more than 300 artworks by emerging to master artists. An event for both seasoned and novice art collectors. Artworks include: paintings, prints, glass, photographs, sculpture, ceramics, art jewelry, and textiles.
